Founded by Aaron's father Richard "Dick" Welty in 1999 as a means to help empower individuals and provide technology training of a sound nature that is high in quality and completeness. Aaron, with the support of his wife and family, took over the business in 2006 transforming Sound Training & Sales (STAS) into a full service residential focused design, advisory, implementation, sales, and service business. for homeowners that prioritize security and privacy first, and technology adoption second.
In 2021 STAS reorganized itself into Wolverine Home (WH) to expand the Wolverine family of brands, while maintaining the exceptional service experience provided for over 20 years. During this time, WH customers consistently seek advice from our professionals on a variety of home related topics each homeowner is having challenges navigating or overcoming. Since then, WH has elected to expand its service offerings to keep up with the changing needs of the market, including a formalization of this home counseling program.
WH now offers a trusted advisory service for homeowners (HO) to help ensure their homes are well maintained. This program provides a trusted confidant which through integrity, reliability, and empathy can guide a homeowner (HO) through the lifecycle of a problem. This lifecycle includes but is not limited to: the evaluation of the issue or compliant with the HO, recommending vendors to perform the required work, meeting with vendors and the HO to review their quotes/proposals and protect from scams, making recommendations on which vendors to use, project managing the vendor work, and seeing the project through to its completion. This service is akin to having a knowledgeable and reliable person, like a dad, to guide and fill the knowledge gap, giving people peace of mind as they work through problems or maintenance in the home.
Wolverine Home (WH) still continues to offers solutions in the areas of Audio Video, Smart Connected Home, Security Cameras, Digital Security, Structured Cabling, and IT - including but not limited to: Wireless, Firewall Security, Computers (Mac & PC), Printers, and more. Primarily serving customers in the mid-west, but WH customers are nationally located and even provide design/advisory services for customer home's internationally as well.
